Bonfiglioli Consulting was a pioneer in Italy in theimplementation of Lean Thinking with the book "Thinking Lean - Lean Thinking the Italian Way." in 1998: we made it concrete and effective through the development of Lean World Class®, our proprietary methodology.

The Lean World Class® enables the implementation of the Lean Thinking operating philosophy to the entire value chain: efficient and effective performance is achieved through the 5 Principles of Lean Thinking implemented in all value generation, production and distribution processes.

The Lean World Class® is based on the methodology World Class Manufacturing - WCM.
The WCM has an articulated modular structure On Technical Pillars and Managerial Pillars. interacting with each other in order to create the conditions necessary to achieve operational excellence.

Each pillar can be understood as an organic area of improvement managed by a Pillar Leader Who is responsible for the 'implementation of progressive improvements to its pillar.

The Pillar Leader is not only the hierarchical manager of the area, but is the owner of methods and tools for improvement.

Each Technical Pillar consists of 7 Steps progressively implemented in all "organizational areas and structures." The 'goal is to bring the company from a Reactive state (one reacts when a problem arises) to a Preventive one (uses experiences to prevent the recurrence of problems that have already occurred, including similar problems in other conditions) and finally to target a Proactive state (in accordance with risk analysis or Risk Assessment, corrective actions are launched to prevent the possibility of a specific problem from happening).
Once the Proactive stage is reached, the company tends to become a benchmark.

Each Step, therefore, has clear elements to finalize before it can be considered concluded: clear and defined deliverables.

Each Managerial Pillar is organized into levels consistent with the program development route map.
