At the end of the course participants:

  • They will know how to read the performance of automated processes, identifying and classifying major production losses
  • They will learn to recognize the main causes of inefficiency and work with related improvement tools
  • They will gain awareness of the effectiveness of Improvement Teams.
  • They will understand how to reduce the inefficiencies of Format Changes.
  • They will be able to implement the methodologies to bring the machines to operate under standard conditions

Measure performance and losses and apply improvement using production data

  • Define machine and plant KPIs to measure performance
  • How to identify major production losses
  • Flash Meeting: how to share and plan improvement actions

 

SMED | How to reduce changeover time

Optimizing production change to improve performance

Objectives of the module

  • How to reduce changeover time
  • How to identify activities that can be eliminated or need to be optimized
  • How to create operational standards based on Visual Management and make them sustainable over time through operational procedures and tools
  • How to plan and implement improvement plans

 

Autonomous Maintenance | How to Improve Downtime and Non-Quality Losses

Ensure optimal plant conditions to reduce losses and increase efficiency

Objectives of the module

  • How to Reduce Downtime and Non-Quality Losses
  • How to set up an Autonomous Maintenance plan
  • How to plan activities and assign them within the department organization

 

 

The modules include hands-on sessions that will take place at the Lean Factory School®, within which real work environments are simulated in which to apply the concepts learned.
Each module can also be attended individually, thus personalizing one's training.
