Practical course on managing systems through cleaning, inspections and lubrications

The Autonomous Maintenance (AM) course takes participants through an understanding of proper plant management through cleaning, daily checks, lubrications, adjustments and early detection of anomalies. Devoted to hands-on practice and direct involvement, the course allows participants to take part in a real production plant operation simulation.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, participants will acquire method and tools for:

Reduce machine downtime and losses of Non-Quality
set up an Autonomous Maintenance plan
Plan activities and assign them within the department organization

Training and machine preparation
When and where to apply Autonomous Maintenance
The weak signals of the machine
How to prepare and execute an Autonomous Maintenance Kaizen Blitz
Create and manage formal self-maintenance standards
Making operational standards effective through Visual Management
