On April 19, 2018, Confindustria Firenze Formazione Cosefi, with the support of Bonfiglioli Consulting, is organizing a free workshop on the use of enabling technologies to accelerate improvement processes and create new business models.

What new frontiers can the simple and intelligent application of enabling technologies open up for processes managed using Lean Thinking?

CONTEXT

We recognized the need to develop an approach that integrates and combines the leading organizational model of recent years (Lean Thinking) with the opportunities generated by available technologies that are relatively inexpensive and easy to use (Enabling Technologies).

Our reference model raises two objectives/questions:

• Can enabling technologies be used to accelerate the improvement processes already underway?
• Can enabling technologies be used to create new business models and/or new ways to serve customers?

CONTENTS

During the workshop, we will present a systematic approach to digitalization for manufacturing companies, which must be implemented through processes optimized in a lean and simple manner:

• Lean & Digital Assessment: how to determine the current level of maturity in lean techniques and the degree of digitization
• Strategy Alignment: how to leverage technologies for new business models.
• Digital Agenda: How to develop a digital transformation plan

TARGET AUDIENCE

The workshop is aimed at entrepreneurs, CEOs, and managers in the technical, procurement, planning, logistics, T&M, sales, and marketing departments.
