Walking Tour in Epta

Since 2011 Bonfiglioli Consulting has led Epta in a LeanWorld Class® overhaul of order management processes in the Technical-Sales area.

The project, initially conducted successfully in the Brand Updating department (customization of refrigeration units), was then extended to the Pack Operations department (design and production of refrigeration units).
Since then, thecultural change triggered has enabled the creation of a framework capable of autonomously and sustainably generating projects and activities to support the group's growth and competitiveness.

Main activities carried out

  • Simplification of processes and focusing resources on value-based activities
  • Implementation of Visual Management systems for finite capacity planning and shared management of quotations and orders
  • Introduction of parametric quoting systems for requests and standardized specification check-lists for order acquisition
