The title of the book is enough of an anticipation to understand that this is yet another "step up" from Lean but always with the "Bonfiglioli style," that is, with a view to achieving concrete and measurable results over time.
The first book written by Romano Bonfiglioli in 1997. "Halfway Between Tokyo and Frankfurt - A Management Model for Italian SMEs." was the starting point of a real 'series' on issues related to business life and development.
This book represents, both in title and content, the natural evolution of our previous volumes on the Lean Thinking, however, integrating them with a strong focus on very current topics such as cost reduction and attention to people in the improvement projects that companies normally undertake to regain competitiveness.
