FMEA - Failure Mode and Effect Analysis - is a methodology used to analyze the failure or defect modes of a process, product or system. The method makes it possible to analyze its causes and assess what the effects are on the entire system/plant. The analysis is usually performed preemptively and is therefore based on theoretical and non-experimental considerations.

Course objectives: master DFMEA and PFMEA

• explain in detail the methodology of the FMEA technique
• Provide knowledge to identify the causes of failure, both on the product (DESIGN FMEA) and on the service/product realization process (PROCESS FMEA)
• Learning how to prioritize interventions and verify the effectiveness of actions taken

Program: practical techniques for process failure analysis

The course includes the possibility of being organized on:

• application of the DFMEA method (Design FMEA for analysis of failure modes attributable and solvable through design improvement)
• application of the PFMEA method (Product/Service FMEA), which, through the analysis of the production process, makes it possible to identify and eliminate possible failure modes related to production stages
