The project has a clear goal: Making logistics an enabler of manufacturing performance, not a constraint.
Through the application of the Logistics Pillar - Lean World Class®, has been reconsidered:
During the Factory Tour it will be possible to appreciate live not a single instrument, but a Integrated approach between people & material management, production planning and manufacturing.
The intervention has brought tangible and observable benefits directly at the plant.
La stability of line cadence has been significantly improved through a smoother and more predictable material flow, capable of supporting production without interruption or operational urgency.
The redesign of subjugation logistics has enabled a Significant reduction in non-value-added activities including picking errors, made possible by the introduction of assistive kits and systems designed to properly guide people in daily activities.
In addition, the following were eliminated Material searches, unnecessary movement and frequent repositioning along line. This has had a direct impact on both operational efficiency and the quality of daily work.
Special attention was paid to the’ergonomics of workstations, with a decrease in manual lifting and transport due to more streamlined layouts, dedicated assembly kits, and structured supermarkets. In parallel.
La reduction of excess materials along lines and in departments, helped free up space, improve order and make the production flow more legible.
Overall, these interventions have resulted in a increased productivity, supported by more fluid, stable and standardized processes.
An equally relevant result concerns the involvement of people. The project fostered concrete growth in operational skills, strengthening responsibility, autonomy and process management skills.
These results were consolidated and made sustainable over time thanks to the launch of a structured program of Change Management, which involved all organizational levels, ensuring alignment, continuity and oversight of the new operating model.
