Acetum is the world's largest producer of certified Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI both own brand which private label: all available for retail, food service, and industry.

The story of Acetum is linked to the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and has its roots in 1906, when the Motta Cellars in Cavezzo (Modena), where the company's historic factory is located today. Founded in 1992, the company has been able to combine the tradition of the area with innovation, becoming a world leader in the production of balsamic vinegar and part of the British international group ABF since 2017.

Pillar of Professional Maintenance to increase machine reliability and availability through:

  • Definition of maintenance standards and data collection.

  • New Spare Parts and Warehouse Management Procedures.

 

To strengthen the project, a program of Change Management structured to Establish a system of resource involvement Through:

  • Daily meetings with operators with discussion of performance and suggestions for improvement
  • Weekly meetings with line managers and maintainers with discussion of performance and proposals for improvement
  • Creation of temporary ad hoc Teams on specific problems with specific goals
  • Visual Management of shared indicators and improvement actions

 

Results achieved in 12 months:

  • +2 p.p. OEE of establishment
  • +1% hourly productivity
