Workshop to implement an effective organizational improvement plan

Hoshin Kanri is the 'approach articulated in 7 steps that starts with defining strategic goals and translating them into acton plans to be communicated throughout the organization.

  • How to decline the corporate strategy and transfer it to the whole company?
  • How to operationalize the strategy and on which improvement projects to focus and concentrate resources?
  • How to identify a course and monitor its progress in order to be able to adapt quickly and effectively in a competitive scenario?

 

The training day aims to answer these questions by providing methodologies and tools specific to Hoshin Kanri.

Hoshin Kanri: methods and tools for achieving strategic business goals

At the end of the course, participants will acquire method and tools for:

  • Define and communicate the long-term strategy and annual goals systematically and effectively within the company;
  • Transferring business objectives to the various levels of the organization;
  • Select improvement projects that are functional to the goals and strategy;
  • Formalize indicators and responsibilities on projects;
  • Monitor performance and manage the progress of projects.

  • Responsibilities (Who) and KPIs (How much)
  • The extension and deployment to the entire organization
  • The Hoshin Kanri in action
  • The transfer of priorities and goals to the 2nd level
  • The management mechanisms and routines
  • The Visual Management
  • The tools for monitoring and reviewing projects

Who the Hoshin Kanri course is for: target audience and training modalities

The course has a duration of 8 hours and will be held in-person at the Lean Factory School®. The mode will alternate between content presentation, discussion of business cases, group exercises and simulations.
