Visual Management is one of the pillars of Lean Thinking and consists of the use of tools, signals, standards, and visual indicators that allow for immediate understanding of the operational situation, identification of anomalies, and timely intervention.

The course provides methods and tools to make processes, information, and standards easily understandable and accessible to everyone, improving efficiency, quality, safety, and people's engagement.

  1. Visual Management Tools

  • Operational Whiteboards, Andon, OPL, SOP, and Audit Cards.
  • Flash Meeting and Shopfloor Management.
  • Errors to Avoid and Golden Rules of Visual Management.
  1. Visual Management in Autonomous Maintenance
  • Visual management of inspection, cleaning, and lubrication tasks.
  • Checklists and visual tools for monitoring systems.
  • Early recognition of anomalies.
  1. Visual Management for Quality Control
  • Visual standards to ensure product compliance.
  • Management of anomalies and non-conforming materials.
  • Using SQDIP and Kamishibai for Performance and Standards Monitoring.
  1. Visual Management in Offices
  • Application of visual principles to administrative and project processes.
  • Introduction to Scrum and Kanban.
  • Planning, activity monitoring, and workload management via visual tools.

Extensive practical session according to the approach Learning by doing to accompany the theoretical part.

Also of interest are Managers and Staff from technical, administrative, and project management offices who are oriented towards applying visual tools to indirect processes.

The course includes a strong experiential component based on the "learning by doing" logic: through practice on real workstations, it is possible to consolidate learning and apply what has been learned during the course.
