The Sourcing & Supply Chain model: developing effective logistics chains local for local

The choice of suppliers and distribution model is a key building block to fully reap the benefits of a global marketplace and presupposes a clear strategy.

Awareness of the drivers of success (cost, quality, service) determines the increasingly evident establishment of integrated logistics chains in a local for local logic.

The protagonist of this module will therefore be the rationalization of the supplier base to move from the optics of individual players to that of value chains in order to:

• optimize and streamline supply chains, making logistics flows more efficient, with more responsive upstream supply stages and better inventory management;
• develop the supplier base from a partnership perspective, supporting joint business growth.
