The two-day course aims to delve into Value Techniques, learn methods and tools to rationalize production and save money by applying specific analysis systems. The different systems under study will be DFMA Design For Manufacturing & Assembling) , VRP® (Variety Reduction Program), QFD (Quality Function Deployment), Over Cost/Over Quality, Modular and Platform Design.

By the end of the course, participants will have learned how:

• Use the main techniques for cost rationalization
• Carry out precise analysis for the definition of Value
• Identify the main evaluation parameters of a product

• Meaning of Value training: what customers value when they choose
• The definition of a product, starting from customer needs/desire, applying a QFD (Quality Function Deployment) process
• Experiment with cost reduction through rationalization of components and assembly process
• Application of DFMA (Design For Manufacturing & Assembling) for product analysis.
• Application of the Variety Reduction Program (VRP®) for complexity analysis of product families.
• Identification of costs and quality not perceived by the customer by applying the Over Cost/Over Quality methodology

The course is intended for Managers, Technicians and Professionals in R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrialization, and Project Managers. It will be held at the Lean Factory School® and is 16 hours (2 days) in-person.
