Digital Talk "People 4.0 | The Human Side of Digital Transformation Processes in Manufacturing: the Oleificio Zucchi Case"

Oleificio Zucchi made major plant and technology investments to support the projected growth in production volumes, initiating a process of digital transformation of the factory that led to rethinking the organization, operational mechanisms, and skills of shopflooor staff to ensure that they fully grasp the advantages and potential offered by new technologies.

Indeed, every successful Digital Transformation requires the involvement and adaptation of the organization and its people to the new operational and management challenges, being first and foremost a change management process.

Roberta Gorini, HR at Oleificio Zucchi, talks about her company's experience in managing change related to the introduction of high-digital and high-tech facilities in the production environment.  Oleificio Zucchi designed and initiated, with the support of Bonfiglioli Consulting, a course of development and alignment of resources and their skills with new technologies and operating modes aimed at:

  • Design new profiles in alignment with the requirements of new plants/lines
  • Map/assess the technical and management skills of the current workforce and identify key people
  • Implement the communication plan to support the "Digital Transformation" process
  • Redefining processes and organization
  • Support the implementation of training and coaching paths to enrich technical and management skills with new Digital tools
