The Pathway

A 4-day experiential training course to experience, through practical exercises on Bosch Rexroth-branded assembly lines, the real impact on production results of the joint use of:

• Lean manufacturing methodologies and tools
• Technical solutions developed to maximize the performance of assembly activities

Goals

• Learning to think and act in a Lean perspective
• Understand how to seek value and attack all waste
• Acquire a comprehensive view of winning tools and approaches to set up and manage improvement activities in manufacturing production realities

Contents

• Lean Problem Solving: solving problems effectively and efficiently

• Hunting for waste: how to identify them

• Workplace Organization: Ergonomics, effectiveness and efficiency in the workstation

• Method 5S implemented on Bosch Rexroth workbenches 

• Kit, Kanban, Syncro,...: the techniques of enslavement of production materials

• Value Stream Mapping (VSM): identifying and mapping the value

• Lean Manufacturing: create a continuous production flow

• Problem Setting and Problem Solving
  Understand how to identify and solve problems effectively
• Lean Basic
  Apply them Lean concepts to island assembly/packaging
• Lean Advanced
  Apply Lean methodology to in-line assembly/packaging
• Value Stream Mapping VSM
  Reading the value stream to identify opportunities for improvement

A certificate of attendance will be issued upon completion of the course.
