Interview with Ranieri Niccoli, chief manufacturing officer of Automobili Lamborghini SpA.

Ranieri Niccoli, chief manufacturing officer of Automobili Lamborghini SpA will talk about the experience of Digital Transformation illustrating the different aspects and impacts that the process has had on the organizational model and on the people Involved.

The new factory model, named "Lamborghini manufactory enabled the creation of a flexible and scalable production ecosystem, combining:

  • craftsmanship, to ensure the quality and level of customization that has always distinguished Automobili Lamborghini's style,
  • Industry 4.0 technologies and logic (Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) Collaborative Robots, Factory in Cloud, Virtual Reality),
  • skills, specialization and involvement of people through the enhancement of Team work, the development of an in-house Training center and lean lab, an in-house incubator for sharing ideas for improvement and innovation (Management of Ideas), and the partnership the area's technical colleges and universities to train professionals to respond to the technological evolution of the automotive sector.
