Botter, winery founded in 1928 in Fossalta di Piave (Ve), is today a leading exporter of Italian wine.
In order to To improve customer service e to increase productivity, management recognized the importance of defining and implementing a performance measurement system focused on reducing waste and increasing the flexibility of the logistics-production model. Objectives that can only be pursued establishing in the Company a Continuous improvement-oriented organizational approach structured through the involvement and empowerment inter-functional resources, continuing education and theapplication rigorous principles and tools Lean World Class®.
With the project, four improvement directions were activated to embrace the world of Operations in a comprehensive way.

On the one hand, work was done on processes related to Production and Supply Chain, through the application of the principles and tools of Lean World Class®, to improve business performance:
On the other hand, work has been done on Resources, their involvement and empowerment through dedicated training programs and certification of some resources Lean Six Sigma.
All this has led to an overall improvement in the level of service to the end customer.
