Course on assessing risks in the supply chain and implementing contingency plans

 

In the management of purchasing processes, especially in the current macroeconomic situation, it is important to integrate metrics that consider the risk of supply in addition to classic service parameters such as quality and cost into the evaluation of suppliers.

To mitigate difficulties and avoid disruption of purchasing channels, it is therefore critical to ensure Business Continuity in Procurement by structuring a critical supply chain analysis using the tools of the risk contingency planning and of thestrategic analysis of the purchasing portfolio To identify possible alternative solutions.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course, participants will have learned:

  • The main techniques for assessing critical supply chain issues and tools for portfolio segmentation
  • Contingency actions to minimize risks to Business Continuity.
